Hot Hitmakers: Russ Debuts Amid Drake's Dominance

Apr 19, 2017

Drake continues to dominate the Hot Hitmakers chart measuring the top songwriters behind the week's biggest tracks. Not only did he keep his No. 1 position, but he's involved in the charting of five additional songwriters who either collaborated with him directly or did so on other songs that feature him.

The result is not much movement in the chart, other than the debut of US rapper "Russ" (Russ Vitale) at No. 18. Interestingly, Ed Sheeran collaborator Benjamin Levin pulled away from the superstar, rising to No. 8 (from Sheeran's 17) thanks to additional credits on tracks from Halsey and Julia Michaels.
