Usher, one of the best-selling artists in American music history, has sold over 65 million records worldwide, won seven Grammy awards and received nine Hot 100 number-one hits. Clearly deserved of his number six ranking on the list of Top 50 R&B/Hip-Hop Artists of the Past 25 Years, Usher rose to fame in the late 1990s with the release of his second album My Way, which spawned his first Billboard Hot 100 number-one hit, “Nice & Slow”. His follow-up album, 8701, produced the Billboard Hot 100 number one hits “U Remind Me” (*included in this auction) and “U Got It Bad”. The album has been certified 4-times platinum by the RIAA. TLC is ranked by Billboard as being one of the greatest musical trios. Between 1992 and 2003, the band accumulated ten top-ten singles, four number one singles, four multi-platinum albums, and four Grammy Awards. TLC has sold more than 50 million albums and 15 million singles worldwide. They are ranked as the second best selling female group, and the best selling female R&B group of all time.
